Communists Held for Firing Reichstag Soon Go on Trial

The Nazi Party’s press department announced today that the investigation into the causes of the Reichstag fire were concluded yesterday and that the two alleged Communists now under arrest charged with the crime will be brought to trial at the earliest possible moment.

The Voelkischer Beobachter, in publishing this announcement comments today that “this will silence all the slanderers, who, at the order of the Jews and Marxists spread the rumor all over the world that Goering himself fired the Reichstag.”
