Measures of retaliation against the unofficial boycott of German goods are rapidly being swung into effect by “The Friends of New Germany”, Hitlerite organization in the United States and other countries.

A move to induce foreign sympathizers of the current administration in Germany to “Buy German” abroad has already been started; but, it is learned on unimpeachable authority, that this is merely the beginning of a widespread propaganda campaign which has as its ultimate goal the boycott of Jewish goods and enforced withdrawal of Jewish commercial enterprise from many channels of business in the United States.

According to one intimately connected with Nazi affairs in the United States, the next two or three weeks will be spent in strengthening the nuclear Nazi force in the United States and other countries, after which the anti-Jewish movement will be swung into action.

A series of demonstrations and celebrations are being planned to rally to the Swastika banner in this country all anti-Jewish elements.

Known variously as “The Friends of New Germany Movement”, “Sympathizers of New Germany”, and “Friends of Hitler Movement”, more than a score of Nazi cells have been organized in the United States, while a recently inaugurated unit in Montreal is laying plans for the creation of a similar cooperative net work throughout Canada.

An effort to induct the anti-Jewish boycott in New York a few weeks ago proved abortive when police tore a banner from N.S.D.A.P. headquarters at 309 East 92nd St. The banner, the first of its kind to be flown in New York, advocated that buyers shun Jewish merchandise.

HEADQUARTERS MOVED

Nazi headquarters were moved last week from the 92nd Street address to more commodious quarters at 152 East 83rd Street in the heart of the German Yorkville area. It is reported that prominent German clubs had previously refused to rent space to the Nazi organization because of Hitler’s discrimination against Jews in Germany and because of other policies of the Nazi organizations which do not meet with the approval of a large number of Germans here and elsewhere.

Amerika’s Deutsche Post, organ of the Hitler movement in the United States, has already begun the “Buy German” campaign. The semi-monthly periodical embraces a supplement, Deutscher Beobachter, operated by heads of the New York cell of the Friends of Hitler.

The latest edition of the Deutsche Post devotes prominent front page space to the “Buy German” campaign. German dealers are requested to send their addresses to the editor of the paper so that readers may be informed as to where German goods can be purchased.
