Henceforth, everyone registering their residence with the police, as required by the regulations, will have to state their religion, according to new police instructions issued by the Prussian Ministry of the Interior. Foreigners in Germany were not previously requested to state their religion when registering. The new order, it is believed, is aimed to furnish a check on the movements of Jews and Catholics.
