Rabbi Rudolph I. Coffee, of Temple Sinai, this city, has tendered his resignation after twelve years of work.

The reason for his resignation was that he needed a long rest, Rabbi Coffee stated. He said he had no future plans.

“I will attend the religious fellowship in Chicago next month,” he declared. “After that I don’t know what I shall do.”

Rabbi Coffee has long been active in Jewish welfare and religious work in northern California. He was chairman of the Jewish Committee of Personal Service at state institutions.
