Dr. Chaim Weizmann, outstanding world Zionist leader, will arrive here today aboard the Berengaria. Dr. Weizmann is coming here to be the guest of honor on July 3 at Jewish Day of the Chicago Century of Progress Exposition.

This Sunday, at 6 P. M., Dr. Weizmann will speak over a nation-wide hook-up arranged by Columbia Broadcasting System’s WABC. His subject will be “Palestine and the Solution of the Jewish Problem”.

Yesterday Dr. Weizmann sent a radiogram to Louis Lipsky, national chairman of the American Palestine Campaign, voicing his regret at the death of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff in Tel Aviv, Palestine.

In his radiogram, Dr. Weizmann lauded the services of the head of the political department of the Jewish Agency, saying:

“The death of Dr. Arlosoroff is an irreparable loss. In the short time of his activity he gained the confidence of the British authorities and of the Jewish settlement in Palestine. He combined brilliant ability with fine qualities of character and leadership, occupying a foremost place amongst the younger generation. I mourn the loss of a devoted servant of the cause of Palestine and a great personal friend.”

Sunday evening, July 2, a dinner will be given at the Palmer House in Chicago in honor of Dr. Weizmann. He also will be a guest of the Jews in Philadelphia on June 29 at a dinner arranged by the Zionist organization there. The dinner will take place in the Crystal Ballroom of the Benjamin Franklin Hotel at 6:30 P. M. Dr. Weizmann will remain in Philadelphia only one night, and then proceed directly to Chicago.
