Jews Moving Businesses Are Traitors, Say Nazis

Jews moving their businesses abroad are guilty of high treason because they are increasing unemployment in Germany and are stimulating foreign competion, it was declared at the German Industrial and Commercial Conference. Stricter control by the Government of the transfer of money abroad and the refusal to issue exit visas to specialists in order not to diminish the quality of German industry, were demanded by the conference.

NEWMAN CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY

A special service to commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the ordination in the Rabbinate, of Rabbi Louis I. Newman, was held Sunday at Temple Rodeph Sholem.

Rabbi Newman spoke on “Changes in American Jewish Life.” He stressed the triumph of Zionism, the development of democratic ideas in American Jewish communal life, the growth of the Temple house movement and the enrichment of Jewish life in the Diaspora.
