The Frankfurter Zeitung has made a tactical error. Reporting that the famous glider, Robert Kronfeld, who holds many world records, is the hero of the hour in Italy following his latest flight there, the paper states: “We hear that Fascist student organizations in Italy have made Kronfeld their idol. We are proud of Kronfeld’s achievement. It has connected the bonds of sympathy between the German and the Italian Fascist youth.”
The paper forgot to mention that Kronfeld is a Jew.
