Thirty Jewish physicians were arrested yesterday when political police raided the consultation offices established by the Berlin Jewish community to assist Jewish medical men deprived of their right to practice.
Among the thirty doctors arrested was the internationally renowned Dr. Felix Theilhaber, physician and writer noted for his studies of sexual problems.
All the Jewish doctors were arrested in their homes in different parts of the city by Nazi physicians accompanied by police. The arrests, it was learned today, followed a report to the police by the Nazi doctors that the consultation offices were being used for the gathering of atrocity propaganda. A list of all Jewish doctors working at the offices was supplied the police by the Nazis and the raid was carried out with speed and precision, all arresting parties leaving police headquarters simultaneously on signal from the leader.
