Minneapolis Mayor Names Jew to Public Welfare Body

I. S. Josephs, a leader in Jewish communal life in Minneapolis for many years, was named to the board of public welfare in the first appointment to be made by the new mayor, A. G. Bainbridge, after he took office Monday. Mr. Joseph has for a number of years been active in civic and philanthropic activities in Minneapolis.
