The appointment of Isador Lubin, as commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, has been announced by Secretary of Labor Perkins. Mr. Lubin, who is well-known as a labor economist, has been associated with Brookings Institution and lately has served as advisor to Senate committees.
