The campaign for the relief of German Jews opened here yesterday under the leadership of Mark Workman and Rabbi Charles Bender. A sum of $5,000 has already been raised, it was announced. Alexander Kahn, of New York City, was guest speaker at a meeting held here in conjunction with the inauguration of the campaign.
