Following the protest of the Proletarian Liberal Artists’ League against the Nazis’ action in burning books, the nationalist group of Japan issued a declaration supporting the Nazis. A new radical movement, in opposition to the Nazis, now shows a definite sign of emerging from the Leftist Rational Labor Union, with the object of organizing a united front.
A preparatory meeting for this new move has been held here, under the auspices of the Kwanto Labor United Conference, in which representatives from the Tokyo Communications Labor Union and seven other labor unions participated.
The Anti-Fascist-Nazis League was the name given to the new organization, formed as the result of a decision carried at the meeting.
