After receiving word from the Roumanian government that they cannot guarantee the safety of Lord Alfred Melchett, who, as honorary president of the World Maccabee intended to be present at the Maccabee Sports Meet in Czernowitz, the Maccabee Executive today resolved not to hold the sports meet at Czernowitz. They decided to transfer the meet to Prague and to hold it in conjunction with the gathering of the World Zionist Congress.
