The Houghton Mifflin Company, of Boston, is preparing to bring out this Fall the American edition of Adolf Hitler’s “My Struggle.” The Times of London has completed publication of a series of extracts from the same book.
Asked by the Jewish Daily Bulletin whether assurances of the firm’s Aryanism were required before it obtained the American rights, the Houghton Mifflin Company replied that its negotiations were conducted exclusively with the London publisher of the English edition.
The Houghton Mifflin Company is predominantly, if not exclusively, non-Jewish.
