A fantastic story that Jews abroad are organizing themselves into military units and equipping themselves with arms and munitions “to attack Germany’s borders at the first opportunity” was related in today’s issue of Der Angriff, newspaper owned by Dr. Paul Josef Goebbels, Nazi minister of propaganda and public enlightenment. The newspaper gloated that it had obtained conclusive evidence from Nazi spies abroad to prove this allegation.

The name of Herr Heltermann, allegedly residing in London at present, was given by Der Angriff as the commander-in-chief of these “Jewish Legions” which the newspaper asserts exist everywhere in Europe outside Germany.

ARMS AND UNIFORMS

Der Angriff stated that these Jewish units are being carefully drilled in closed halls and armories, and that they possess a big quantity of arms. They even have specially designed uniforms, the newspaper declared.

The armies, according to Der Angriff, are being maintained by funds contributed by international Jewry, and the Jews have already succeeded in establishing military warehouses near the German frontier “to serve as a base for the projected invasion of Germany.”

The paper, of course, forgot to state specifically where these warehouses are located or where the supposed Jewish armies are concentrated, but it expressed surprise that “the different foreign governments, especially Holland, are tolerating such Jewish actions.”
