Jewish Colonization in Jugoslavian Province Starts with 50 Families

Jewish colonization of the Macedonian part of Jugoslavia started today when the first fifty families set forth for Bitolj, the Belgrade press reported. The Jugoslavian minister of agriculture has approved the Jewish colonization movement on the ground that the economic crisis has rendered a large number of Jews destitute. Jewish financing of the movement is assured, the Belgrade press added.
