The trial of the inhabitants of several towns in Zywic district near the Polish-German border, charged with attacks on Jews last March, was concluded at Wadowicw after having lasted for two weeks. The villagers were incited by the Endeks, Polish anti-Semites, who told them that multitudes of Jews driven from Germany were invading Poland, and would aggravate Polish impoverishment.
Thirty of the attackers were found guilty and twelve were acquitted.
