“Sasha Gerhart,”, a Hebrew play, is the basis of a story written by Harry Thomashevsky and it has been bought by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The film story will describe a plan to mechanize the world and will show how, from the first perfected robot, thousands of “steel men” are turned out of the factories with the rapidity of tin cans. The leading character in the story is a mechanical man.
