Leo Frankel, president of Frankel Brothers Metal Company and the National Electric Heating Company, died yesterday at his home here after a long illness. He was 69 years old. Born in Biblis, Hessen, Germany, Mr. Frankel came to Canada at the age of 17. He founded the firm of Frankel Brothers in 1886. During the World War Mr. Frankel served on the board of the Toronto and York Patriotic Fund. Later he was active in the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies.
