Official congratulations were extended to Professor Max Reinhardt, noted stage director and producer, on the occasion of his sixtieth birthday.
President Wilhelm Miklas personally handed Professor Reinhardt, the Austrian gold medal, the highest award of the state. Minister of Education and Arts Schusschwigg, thanked him for his inauguration of the Salzburg festival and Lord Mayor Seitz of Vienna, extended the congratulations of the city to Professor Reinhardt.
