The municipality of Tel Aviv yesterday voted a floating loan of 350,000 pounds, maturing in twenty-five years, from private banks. Consent from the Palestine government sanctioned the loan.

It is estimated that about 180,000 pounds will be used in improving the water drainage system in Tel Aviv and 80,000 pounds will be expended on school buildings which are badly in need of repair.
