Leaders of the anti-Nazi movement in this city were determined to carry on their drive for a boycott against German-made goods despite the reported relaxation of restrictions against Jewish merchants in Germany. This determination was given added force by the recommendation for a boycott made today at the opening session of the American Federation of Labor convention by the Executive Council.

Jewish leaders here hastened plans for a series of mass meetings the first of which is to be held Tuesday evening in the Jewish Community Center.

Members of all women’s organizations will gather to discuss a consumer’s boycott against imported German goods. Professor Max Menes, authority on conditions in the Reich, will be the principal speaker. Mrs. John M. Safer, chairman of the Women’s Consumers’ Unit of the Washington Boycott Committee, will preside.
