A member of the National Democratic “Endek” party, anti-Semitic political group, cannot be relied upon to testify in cases involving Jews and anti-Semites, since it is impossible for the “Endeks” to view objectively any conflict between them and Jews, the Polish court of appeals decided yesterday.
The court of appeals, in considering the case of Moische Gruenkraut, who was sentenced to two months imprisonment by the court of first instance for allegedly wounding an “Endek” student, decided to free him, since the witnesses against him were all anti-Semites.
