More than twenty Jewish tailors are under arrest here for participating in a meeting of workers that concerned itself entirely with economic questions.

The Cuban Minister of the Interior, Dr. Guiteras, declared in an interview with the press that the entire group would be deported in the near future as undesirables. There will be no trial of any sort. The men will be deported under a presidential decree signed by President Grau San Martin.

The Havana Jewish juridical committee which usually handles such cases is in a quandary and is undecided on what steps to take, in view of the fact that agitation against Cuban Jews has been renewed in an even more virulent form than in the past.
