Eugene Warner to Head Buffalo Federation Drive

Eugene Warner, prominent Buffalo Jewish leader and director of the last five drives of the Jewish Federation for Social Service, will head the 1934 campaign of the federation, which will open with a banquet at the Hotel Statler, Nov. 19. The amount to be raised this year is $154,679. The campaign will mark the thirtieth anniversary of the federation.

Maurice S. Tabor, Sol J. Levy and Supreme Court Justice Samuel J. Harris will be vice-chairmen of the drive. Honorary vice-chairmen are Rabbi Joseph L. Fink, Rabbi Joseph Gitin, Rabbi Harry Silverstone, Judge Cecil B. Weiner and Herman Wile, president of the Bureau of Jewish Education.
