The extension of the conception of the Aryan race to include Hungarians, Finns, Esthonians and other similar European nations was urged by the Nazi, Dr. Johann von Leers, in an address before the German Pedagogic Society.
Dr. von Leers is the author of the scurrilous book on the Jews, “Jude Sieh Dich An” (Jew, Look at Yourself). In this book, opposite the photograph of Dr. Einstein is the caption “Still Unhung.” Many non-Jews were listed as Jews in this book.
The Nazi leader insisted that a difference should be made between inferior and equal races. The term Aryan is in the first place intended as a distinction between Jews and non-Jews and “other non-creative races,” said Dr. von Leers. “It is not meant as a discrimination against other races of equal standing,” he concluded.
