A committee to organize a world union to combat racial hatred has been formed here by Miss Irene Harand, well-known Christian fighter for the equality of the Jews. She calls upon the Christian world to counteract the growing racial hatred, which, she says, is just as detrimental to the “Christian soul as it is to the Jewish body.”

The committee appeal was signed by over a dozen of the leading Christian personalities in Austria, including representatives of the army and civil service. A number of mass meetings will be held in order to form the contemplated world union.
