Recent measures of the Palestine government affecting Jewish immigration into Palestine will be the subject of a conference between the Palestine committee of the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Joint Foreign Committee to be held Tuesday, it was announced yesterday at the meeting of the Board of Deputies.

The new regulations put into effect by the Palestine administration do not affect Jewish immigration but are concerned with the registration of tourists, Leonard Stein, prominent barrister and honorary counsel for the Jewish Agency for Palestine, declared at the meeting of the deputies. In general discussion on the subject, however, the situation was held grave.

Neville Laski, president of the Board of Deputies, who presided at the recent world conference for the relief of German Jews, held in London, reported that negotiations being conducted with James G. McDonald, the League of Nations High Commissioner for relief of German refugees, are proceeding favorably.
