Temple Mishkan Tefila, at Roxbury, is engaged in completing preparations for the celebration of its 75th anniversary.
The diamond jubilee ball and a dramatic presentation, “The Miracle of the Ages”, written by Mrs. H. H. Rubenovitch, which depicts the community life of the Jew in the United States, will be held next Tuesday evening.
Throughout the year events will be held commemorating the establishment of the institution in 1858 by a handful of Jewish pioneers in Boston. These events will include special services, alumni nights, banquets and bazaars. A souvenir booklet prepared by Rabbi H. H. Rubenovitch will be issued.
Hon. Elhiu D. Stone is chairman of the Temple’s Board of Directors. A. A. Bloom heads the jubilee committee.
