The Jewish Daily Bulletin has been enlarged to daily tabloid size and will continue to use the services of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, an international news-gathering service with bureaus and correspondents in virtually of all cities of the world.
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency was established by Jacob Landau following the World War ## as its purpose the accurat ##ination of information about Jewish affairs everywhere. The service is at present utilitzed by thousands of English and Yiddish newspapers throughout the world.
Since its inception in 1919 the organization has developed until ## the present time it has bureaus and correspondents in residence in ## cities such as Jerusalem, London, Paris, Warsaw, Prague and a large number of cities throughout the United States.
By cable, wireless, telegraph and mail, despatch messages are received at the central office in New York City. Events are tr## according to the impartial # of modern journalism; and ## which might be of interest or importance to Jews is overlooked.
Governments strongly ai## have several times made s## attempts to throttle the service and on occasion have even tried ### correspondents for reporting ##ties, Recently the Berlin correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was ordered to suspend activities and the Hitler Ge## closed the Berlin office for # sent frank reports on the occurences in Germany. It ## throughout the aid of the Secretary of State in Washington and the American Consul-General ## that the office was ## despatches are once ### to the central office.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
