Metallic swastikas and books of nursery rhymes with objectionable references to Jews were found in large numbers of Christmas stockings distributed here. Considerable feeling has been expressed on the subject. Sir MacPberson Robertson, head of the confectionery firm respoiisihie for the distribution of the Christmas stockings, told a J-T.A. representative here that the stockings and their contents were imported from abroad. He regretted their distribution, lie -said, and would have the remaining stocks destroyed.
