Alterations have been introduced in the bylaws of the Jewish National Fund with a view to clearing up certain ambiguities in the wording dating back to the original document of 1907, it is announced at J.N.’F, headquarters here. The Fund is now empowered to lease land to institutions, societies and companies as well as to individuals, and the lessees of the Fund may sublease, transfer or mortgage their leasehold rights, or exchange land under certain conditions. These facilities arc held to be a safeguard for better working of the Fund’s land operations,, for the stabilizing of security, and for securing loans.
