Boston Elects Four to Direct Drive for Refugee Settlement

Four outstanding leaders in the community were elected as active directors of the campaign at a meeting of the General Committee of the Greater Boston Emergency Campaign for the Settlement of German Jews in Palestine, at the Hotel Statler here The men elected were Judge Jacoh J. Kaplan. Judge Francis S. Wyner, Dr. Leon S. Medalia and Jacob Rabinowitz.

Before an enthusiastic gathering Judge Kaplan outlined the urgent necessities which have led to the inauguration of the emergency campaign and explained the general plans to be put into immediate action. He pointed out the danger of the position of the Jews in Germany today. Palestine is the only country capable of ahsorbing a substantal portion of these German Jewish refugees he declared.
