Nathan Straus Jr. will be guest speaker at an emergency conference of more than 1,800 New York Jewish organizations at the Hotel Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon, February 4, to consider plans for the settlement of German Jewish refugees in Palestine. The conference, under the auspices of the Council of Jewish Organizations on Palestine, was called by George Z. Medalie, honorary president; Jacob Fishman, president, and Dr. S. Margoshes, executive chairman of the Council.
