Reucg Commissar of Justice Frank has attacked German Jewish Lawyers in and official memorandum on the difficult economic situation in which German layers find themselves to day. Frank accused the Jewish Lawyers of having corrupted German justice and claimed that it is chiefly due to the Jewish lawyers that the German attornys are unable to carn a living.

The introduction of Roman law in Germany created confusion for the German Lawyers, who were unable to adapt themselves to the complicated Roman Jurisprudence as easily as the Jews, Frank declared. In oder to alleviate the economic lote of the German lawyers, Commisar Frank suggested the introduction of special numerus clausus for law gradutes before their admission to court practice.
