Mahmoud Said Kassas, a habitual pickpocket, has been sentenced to a year’s imprisonment for his 7th offensc. His little piece of pickpocketing this time was to releve a Jerusalem beggar of a considerable sum of money-no less than the sum of 6d. in small coins equivalent to a farthing! So for sixpence he is going to prison for a year.
