The group opposed to Premier Tsaldaris created an uproar in parliament today when Deputy Apostold exclaimed that the Jews are foreigners in Greece.

In reply to this accusation Premier Tsaldaris said that the Jews were entitled to the same rights as Greeks, stressing the fact that the Jews are peaceful and loyal citizens.

The Premier’s words were a signal for the organization of anti-Jewish demonstration by the opposition, which shouted abuses and disrupted the session.
