Beginning March 1, Rabbi Reuben J. Magil, will become the new spirtual head of Temple Beth-El, of Buffalo, succeeding Dr. Israel Efros.
Rabbi Rueben Magil was prominently identified in religious circles in Springfield. Born thrty years ago, he is a direct descendent of the famous Rabbi Alexander Ziskind of Grodna, Poland. Temple Beth-El is Buffalo’s largest-conservative congregation.
