Lewisohn Gives Columbia $500 for Prison Study

Sam A. Lewisohn, formerly Chairman of the Commission to Investigate Prison Administration and Construction, has presented a gift of $500 to Colubia College for the purpose of studying educational problems in penalogical and correctional institutions for yourth in the State of New York, it has been announced by Dean William F. Russell of Teachers College, Columbia University.

“This gift makes possible the beginning of an intensive program of study of the educational problems in a much neglected field”, Dean Russell declared.
