A special national conference of representatives of Zionist groups has been convoked by the Jewish National Fund of American,according to an announcement made by Dr. Israel Goldstein President of the fund.
The conference, which is expected to attract more than a thousand delegates, will be held on Sunday, February, 18, at the Hotel Benjamin Franklin,Philadelphia.
A plan will be adopted which will call for the establishment in Palestine of a colony to be known as Kfar Ussishkin, in tribute to Menahem Ussishkin,on the occasion of his seventieth birthday.Mr. Ussishkin is a veteran Zionist leader and is president of the Keren Kayemeth le Israel.
In addition,proposals will be considered concerning methods of strengthening the Keren Kayemeth units throuhout the country.Each Zionist district and Jewish National Fund unit is entitled to sent two delegates to the conference,it was declared.
