Although the testimonial luncheon to be tendered to the veteran Pro-Palestinian,Charles Edward Russell, February 12,at the Hotel Commodore,is entirely complimentary,and in recognition of his notable services to the cause of Palestine in the last few years,it is highly probable that the British policy of limiting immigration into Palestine will be fully aired at this gathering.
The speakers include Mayor LaGuardia,Judge Julian W. Mack,Dr.Stephen S. Wise,Charles H.Tuttle,Judge Mitchell May,Bernard S.Deutsch, President of the Board of Aldermen ,and Rabbi David de Sola Pool.Jacob de Haas Will preside.
The luncheon is under the auspices of the Pro-Palestine Federation of America,which secured the cooperation of a large group of sponsors.
