Avukah’s summer school, which will soon begin its fifth annual session, will be the subject of discussion at this afternoon’s meeting of the Eastern conference of the American Student Zionist Federation, at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Rabbi Maurice B. Pekarsky, director of B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation at Cornell University, will lead the discussion.

Other events on the conference program included an informal super last night at which John J. Tepfer and sholom Altman presented a literary and musical program. Morris Rotenberg, president of the Zionist organization of America and Simon Greenberg, president of Avukah, spoke on “Center Position in Zionism.”

Kurt Lewin, formerly of the University of Berlin, and now at Cornell University, will be the guest of honor at the conference dinner tonight. The psychologist will speak on “Psycho-sociological Problems of Belonging to the Jewish Grounp.” The dinner will be followed by an imformal dance in the ballroom of the Seminary.
