At the annual meeting of the Council of Jewish Social Agencies the following were elected to the executive board. Milton P. Firestone, Dr. William Ginsberg, Max Goldberg, George Kaplan, S. Libman, Rabbi Herman Cohen, Mrs. S. M. Mogilner, Irving Epstein, Bernard Marx and Rabbi Harry S. Margolies. The officers of the Council are: President, Rabbi Harry S. Mergolies; Vice-President, Mrs. S. M. Mogilner; Treasurer. Dr. William Ginsberg; Secretary, Miss Molly Green.
The Council represents twenty-six Jewish organizations in the city and is, at the present time, enaged in making a survey of Jewish Educational Institutions in our community and in studying the needs of a Jewish welfare fund in the community.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
