A campaign for the relief of German Jews is being organized here, with a quota set at $3,5000. The organizations which are to benefit will be the Joint Distribution Committeee, the Palestine Campaign, the American Jewish Congress, the Ort, and the HIAS. Edward Sacher, vice-president of the Jewish Community Center of Plainfield and former president of the Common Council of the city of Plainfield, is heading the campaign.
