A triple birthday celebration honoring Washington, Lincoln, and Franklin D. Roosevelt, all of whose birthdays occur in February, will be held by the World Fellowship of Faiths on Friday evening, February 23 in the ballroom of the Hotel New Yorker.
Among the speakers who will pay tribute to the three presidents are Rabbi Israel Goldstein, of Congregation B’nai. Jeshurun; Rev.Albert C.Grier, pastor of the Church of the Truth; Dr. George E.Haynes, Executive secretary of the commission of the church and race relations of the Federal Council of Churches of Christ in America, and Pandis Shyama Shankar, representing the Hindu Religious Association, Benares, India.
