Zadok Mendelssohn, who fought with Pilsudski’s Polish Legion, today obtained an American visa by courtesy of the aged dictator’s daughter, Wanda.
Penniless and virtually alone, Mendelssohn, whose family is in the United States, applied repeatedly for an American visa without success. He approached Wanda and told his story.
