Minister Attacks Anti-semitic Propaganda at Alabama Meeting

Attacking anti-Semitic Propaganda in America and Decrying the prevalent attitude toward the Jewish race, Dr. Henry M. Esmonds, Birmingham Minister, Made a Plea Before the Anniston Rotary Club for consentrated activity among all races and creeds in all communities. “The only way we can cement relationships is to do things together in all communities,” Dr. Edmonds said.

Citing the oppression of Jews everywhere. Dr. Edmonds declared “We have made the Jew clannish, sometimes noisy and a money lender. Now we are trying to make him the goat of the depression. Instead of making him the goat the peoples of the earth should be thankful to the earth should be thankful to the Jew for the things he has given civilization.”
