Mrs. Sidney C. Borg, chairman of the Women’s Division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, announced yesterday the appointment of Mrs. Richard J. Bernhard as chairman of the committee in charge of the arrangements for the annual luncheon and meeting to be held April 19 at the Hotel Commodore.
Serving with Mrs. Bernhard on the luncheon arrangements committee are Mrs. Abraham I. Elkus. Mrs. Edgar A. Hellman, Mrs. Charles E. Heming, Mrs. Walter A. Hirsch, Mrs. Paul Klingenstein and Mrs. Henry Siegbert.
The luncheon will be followed by the annual meeting, at which a report will be presented on the work of the organization for the past year, after which officers for 1934 will be elected. Mrs. Paul Baerwald has been appointed chairman of the nominating committee.
