Eddie Cantor Gives New Fellowship to Hebrew University in Jerusalem

Eddie Cantor tonight announced that he has established a fellowship in Hebrew University in Jerusalem in honor of his wife, Ida Cantor. An Eddie Cantor fellowship has been established here by Maurice Weil of St. Louis. Six other fellowships were announced by Herbert Askwith, director of the American Friends of Hebrew University, which are to provide places on the university staff for young instructors and scientisls who will do research.
