Following the dismissal of all Jewish doctors employed by the municipality of Linz, ordered yesterday by government commissar Drnusko, a circular was dispatched today to all employes of the sick fund panels in Linz, including doctors, nurses and sanitary workers, ordering them to state their religion, and if they are naturalized citizens, the date upon which they became citizens.

The summary dismissal of all Jewish doctors employed by the Linz municipality is part of a general campaign against the Jewish doctors of Austria, which is now in full swing. Many doctors were dismissed in Vienna and a large number of others were told that their contracts would not be renewed when they expired.
